Beautiful Dress and Comfortable

Can always count on Alex Evenings for a nice, comfortable special occasion dress. I was fortunate enough to get this on the sale. I find that it runs true to size. (20W) The navy color is beautiful and I’m glad somebody else mentioned in their review that the sequins aren’t really silver. They’re also navy blue so it’s just the way the light catches it, which gives it a more subdued look, which I like. I tried it on, fit beautifully, no alterations needed, ready to wear! Wearing it to an outdoor family wedding in September. And of course it can be worn for other occasions as well! Excellent buy!

Too long, almost a gown.

Really not what I expected. The model must have been over 6' tall because I'm 5'5" and the dress was down to my ankles. A couple more inches and it would have been a gown. I liked the material but really nothing fit quite right. I'll be returning it.

Nice light dress

Very nice dress. The jacket was a bit thin which would be great for summer, but it came across as flimsy on me and didn't hold it's shape well enough. I didn't care for it, though someone else might. Returned.

very nice dress

I am debating whether to keep this for my sons wedding. Still shopping as I really wanted a more formal look. Fits great so may have to settle. It seems all I have to choose from is Navy blue in the women’s sizes and really wanted a lighter color.

Elegant Special Occasion Dress

Dress was very well made. Sheer skirt was full cut with complete lining. The sequin jacket was very dressy but subtle and elegant. Flattering cut for plus size women. Arm holes on the dress were a little large and may require a small tuck or dart. The fit ran slightly larger than the usual in the bodice. I ordered my usual size and think a smaller size would have been snug and interfered with the cut of the dress. Very attractive dress.
