Contour Collection Embellished Ruched Sheath Cocktail Dress

I wanted to like this dress, and it truly looks great complimenting my curves, but the fabric is so unpleasant to touch, that I took it off and packed it right back! If you are buying it just to "look good on the photos", this is it, but if you also want to feel good in your dress and spare the people around from feeling they are touching a thermal suit for winter water activities - look somewhere else. I should also say that the embroidery on the side is made very well. I am never a fan of the rhinestones, but this detail is made in a good taste and is actually is not a bad addition. I also liked the dark grey color, very nice step away from a little black dress (nothing wrong with that one though :)).

This dress is exactly what I was looking for to wear to a wedding. I liked the color, style, fit and the embellishment at the waist. However, I was quite surprised to see that the sleeves and neckline had raw, unfinished edges making for a very messy look. I ordered the dress in two sizes (8 and 10) and both had the same unfinished sleeves and neckline. Unless you want to do some tailoring I do not recommend purchasing this dress. I returned mine today.

I tried on in store and felt my face be tingly and itch but passed it off. I liked it, but needed smaller size. Ordered, received and tried and and immediately my face and arms started to tingle and itch more than they had in store. Reaction was similar to what I experience with latex glove allergy. Doubtful that it has latex, but perhaps a dye or a fabric flame retardant I may be sensitive too. Dress fit well, but not well made, no finished edges, Cheap. The neckline bunched up as if not sewn correctly. Returned.
