Saige Raw Hem Mid Rise Ankle Wide Leg Jeans

I have mixed feelings. Going to keep these initially and see how it goes because they are on sale, really cute and the style I was looking for. It’s frustrating when the description is not correct and it’s becoming more common. These are not mid rise jeans. The rise on the pair I received is 11inches. Should be 10.25. That’s the difference of below or above my belly button. Another comment said theirs was 12 inches. Body type is really going to determine the size and fit of these. 29 is my size up in AG. They were loose in the waist in the waist but felt comfy and looked good. The problem, saggy in the crotch. Got 28 and come above my belly button and are more snug in waist and butt. Still love the look in the leg and the crop raw hem. Farrah’s I’m 29 but Mari and boyfriend I take 28. Just depends on style and fabric. 5’5” 137lbs. Almost all my jeans are AG but I feel they are starting to slip a little for me and I’m leaning towards Mother & Paige. If they relax in the waist without sagging in the crotch then I will keep them but at $165 I’m annoyed.

I didn't expect these to be particularly "flattering," given the wide leg cut - but I wanted something comfortable for just a grab and go kind of outfit. But these are surprisingly flattering! I find myself reaching for these over most of my other jeans. They go well with D'orsay flats, kitten heels, Birks, just about any shoes I'm currently wearing, and the length is perfect for me as-is for a full length option (I'm 5'1"). The color is a good neutral - not too light or too dark, so very versatile. I didn't find them to run small at all - I've been sizing up to a 30 lately in higher end denim, but these fit perfectly in a 29 (I carry most of my weight in my abdomen and hips, fwiw).

These are nice jeans. I ordered them because I don't like wearing high-waisted jeans; I prefer mid-rise. I ordered size 28, thinking these jeans were for someone with a size 28 waist. But the jeans that arrived had a waist of 28 inches. So they are high-rise and meant to be worn right at the natural waist. It wasn't very pleasant to have to return them.
