Full price ok for this pair
I have a shut ton of jeans. Love them, can’t have enough. For the most part, AG is solid on quality. They are a premium denim brand so over $200 is the norm. On sale is great if you can get your size. For some odd reason this pair caught my eye. Was it the high waist, straight yet loose leg, ankle length?? Free returns with Nordy so what do you have to lose? Well, this pair isn’t going back. The fit is impeccable. True high waist yet the pocket placement on the bum hits just right. Loose but not sloppy. I’m not sure I’d categorize as a barrel leg as I’m not a fan, but these are beyond flattering. In AG sizing, I’m split between a 28 and 29 (slightly hippy) and the 28 fit perfect. I can see this pair being year round.

Great into to the barrel leg
I love these jeans. They’re advertised as straight leg but they’re really more of a minimal barrel leg because the ankle has a slight taper compared to the leg. I’m 5’2 so the jeans are a little long on me, as expected, but they look cute with a cuff so I may not have them hemmed. These run true to size. I typically wear a 26, that’s the size I purchased and they fit perfect. The waist still has a tad bit of that relaxed, slightly loose, lived in feel. I think these are the perfect intro to the barrel leg trend, especially for petite women, as they are not overwhelming. Great quality as expected from AG. Highly recommend!
