Relaxed Denim Shorts

The fabric is incredibly soft to touch and a very comfortable wear. I see myself getting plenty of wears from it. I will say composition likely makes the fit larger than usual (maybe due to the elastane). I could've gone down a size or 2 with these. Also, the raw hem frays after wash/dry...I don't mind that though.

I had to jump on here to write a review right away! These are the best jean shorts I've ever owned. The are incredibly comfortable, stretchy, soft, flattering, and the perfect length. The only tricky part is the sizing - they run approximately 2 sizes too big - depending on how you want them to fit. I bought my regular size 27 and they were a too big but I kept them to wear with a belt and figured they could be more of a mid to low rise fit. Then I purchased a size 26 and they fit well but still ran loose. So I purchased a size 25 (and only size 25 jeans in my closet) and those fit perfectly. So now, I have 3 pairs in 3 different sizes which is definitely excessive but they are are - by far the most comfortable shorts I own, Already received several compliments the first time I wore them out.

These shorts are awesome! Modest inseam, great color, and incredibly soft fabric. They are so lightweight that I was even fine wearing them in the dead of summer in Texas. I will say, though, they run very generous in size. I'm a pretty solid size 31/32 in most denim brands, and I had to size down to a 29 in these and they were still roomy.

These shorts are so soft and perfect for my very sensitive skin. Even after washing and drying the shorts still feel buttery soft. The ends did fray and I honestly like them more that way. I did size down— I’m unsure which size I would typically wear in AG but I’m 5’4” athletic build with 28” waist and size 26 fit great. The shorts are loose but not sloppy and the perfect length. I really hope AG makes more Jean shorts or pants with this exact fabric in the future as I have an extremely difficult time finding jeans as I can’t tolerate scratchy fabric and uncomfortable waistbands.
