Strange fit denim top

Looks great, feels great to the touch but the cut is weird. Very restrictive trying to move arms forward. Possibly the way they cut the denim fabric? It just doesn’t stretch and I felt trapped by the material. Color was great texture of the fabric was great. The cut for me was weird and it was $89! A lot for a non-comfortable shirt.
