Alexxis High Waist Bootcut Jeans

I almost never write reviews, but I'm adding this one because this would have been a wasted purchase without the advice of the other buyers who said to size up. You'll notice that the Nordstrom video also recommends sizing up, but with the qualification that you should only do so "if you're between sizes." I am not between sizes -- and I almost exclusively buy AG jeans. Trust me when I say the sizing is off for this pair. I'm consistently a 27 in AG, but I have a couple 26R in my closet as well. I ordered two of the Alexxis High Waist Bootcut in 29, and they fit like a glove. I'd never have been able to button a 27. I don't know why this pair is different, but sizing aside the material is lovely and soft with a little stretch and the cut is very sexy. Totally worth the money, especially if you can get them discounted like I did. They will look more flared before they are hemmed to the proper length - after that it's nice and subtle.

Encouraged by the other reviewer’s high praise, I ordered this pair. They fit so well! 5’7”, 130 lbs.—I ordered a 27 which is one up my usual size. I had to get them hemmed but they are worth it to me. I also tried on another Alexxis bootcut style and that one wasn’t flattering. This one was it.

These are a little snugger than expected but the way they fit/look is 🔥! I may end up living in them. If you're okay with snug go up 1 size. If you prefer a looser fit I'd recommend 2 sizes up. I'm 5'8/180# and I got the 32. Probably would have been better with a 33. Length is perfect. Should be able to wear 2-3 inch heel before they look too short.
