Drop Shoulder Tunic Sweater

Before I could even wear this sweater one time the seam under the arm into the chest area of the garment literally fell apart leaving a gaping 8-inch hole. This happened after washing the sweater on gentle cycle and low tumble drying exactly as stated on the laundry instructions on the inner tag. I can’t believe I wasted money on this! I also bought the sweater in the olive color so I hope that one doesn’t fall apart either. It’s a bummer because the fabric is the perfect light weight for early Fall weather and the fit is boxy and slightly oversized which looks so cute over jeans and dress pants. Extremely disappointed and frustrated that I spent the money and can’t get a refund on something that is obviously defective.

The hemline on these is stitched very poorly. I've had store associates agree when I have returned them. I bought one in every color and eventually the hem came apart on almost all of them. I only ever wash my garments on delicate and line dry. I've had sweaters for 20 years and am careful with my clothes. I know the saying "you get what you pay for" but this is ridiculous.
