adidas

The adidas brand sets the curve for sports technology and streetwear relevance. In 1924, Adi Dassler founded his first shoe factory in Germany, providing athletic wear to Gold medalists in multiple Olympics. He created his namesake company and registered the now-famous three-stripes shoe design in 1949. Today, adidas shoes and clothing are synonymous with performance and style, with collections available for women, men and kids.

Love the cushioning on this shoe

This is an excellent training shoe as it provides excellent cushioning and the upper is breathable but also quite durable. This shoe also provides excellent stability particularly when you plant your foot after a stride as your foot doesn't slide around in the shoe. The only thing that this shoe doesn't do great at is sprints as you don't get a whole lot of an explosive push. However overall it is an excellent everyday training shoe for those training for an 8K run or medium length speed walk.

terrible update - squishier, less energy

What did they did to this shoe? Compared to the Rise 2, it puts much more squish material under the front of your foot, your foot is flatter relative to the ground, and the squishy foam gives substantially less energy back - MUCH less (see runrepeat.com for testing). Just terrile.

Great general training/base miles shoes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use these as my general training/base miles shoes. They are very comfortable and actually faster than I expected. I have been using supernovas for years and these are a great addition in the series.

Outstanding value and comfort!

This is the fourth pair of Supernovas that I’ve owned and they deliver great value for an every day running shoe. You will not be disappointed. They are firm, yet offer a fair amount of give and have a nice wide base to prevent ankle issues. Adidas also put on their best laces. I ran 125 kilometers in them and the laces never came untied.
