The heel part of the shoes are hard and digs in.
I have both the Codechaos 24 and 25 BOA versions. The 24s are very comfortable a tad on the larger size. The 25s are tight but what drives me crazy is the heel. It is rubbing the crap out of my heels and is very uncomfortable. I thought it needed to be broken in, no. I would not recommend these in the lace or boa form.

Gorgeous shoe, a bit narrow
