Fantastic portable speaker
I received this items a few weeks ago. It exceeded my expectations.
First, I customized it and it looked amazing. The design was so much bolder that I anticipated.
It was a great size, easily portable, packed MEGA volume. So easy to use, even my 6 year old was able to use it.

I bought a jbl 5 because the battery quit on my 3, on my 5 if I get a call the speaker quits same with incoming emails or messages, my 3 would allow acall to ring through and then just pick back up, I tried your help, chat and messaging but my need didnt fit a catagory

Thank you for your feedback on our JBL Clip 5. Our JBL Clip 3 featured a speakerphone with a built-in microphone, which was convenient for taking phone calls. In our recent Clip series like our JBL Clip 5 does not include a built-in microphone, as this model focuses on music playback. If you are looking for a portable speaker with a speakerphone, you might want to check out our JBL Go 2. Long time fan of JBL
This is not the first JBL speaker or the last that I have purchased.
The product itself is amazing. Sounds great, durable, clip is so convenient.
Most importantly their support is amazing A company backing their product is so important.
I had a snag with delivery and they could not of handled it better.
You need this speaker!

Nice speaker for the shower!
This little speaker is perfect for the shower. It clips onto my shower head and hangs behind it. Super easy to use. When I turn it on it automatically connects to my phone (after initial set -up of course). Volume and sound quality are great. I’ve only had it a couple weeks so I can’t speak to the longevity of it, but overall I’m very happy with the purchase so far.

Great sound!
I love it! I just wish it could stand upright or have a little stand. It sounds better when both sides of the speaker are exposed. I tried propping it up but it just vibrated and fell over. It sounds better without the power boost, (I think that’s what it’s called; to make the battery run longer.). The compact size is perfect for taking on vacation and having a little music while in my hotel room.

Great sound but...
The sound is great. Unfortunately the speaker disconnects or turns off. My previous phone had the same issue. I have a Clip 4 without the issue and enjoy the sound but was hoping to upgrade with a new and improved model.

We appreciate your feedback. If your JBL Clip 5 turns off randomly, please make sure that the speaker is fully charged before using it. If this still does not resolve the issue, proceed to perform the reset. To reset the speaker, remove the speaker from your source device's Bluetooth settings. Power on the speaker, then press and hold the Volume + button and Play/Pause button together for 2 seconds until the speaker turns off. Pair the speaker again to your device to see if it fixes the issue. Be careful with customization..
I bought this for a client gift, and am glad I bought two. One of them came out with crisp lines with our logo, the other had the logo at a slight angle and was not accepted. The sound is clear and charge works well. I was disappointed in the customization.
