Utility Denim Maxi Skirt

I fell in love with this skirt at first sight. I had read that it was heavy, and when it arrived it was indeed more substantial than I expected. Once I put it on, however, the weight became almost unnoticeable because the design is so striking and beautifully balanced. The details are what make this skirt truly special: multiple pockets, four adjustable belt accents at the sides, and four snap buttons on each side that can be opened to create a subtle slit and show a bit of leg. As someone who is 5’0”, I was concerned that all of these design elements might overwhelm my frame, but the opposite was true—it is surprisingly flattering and creates a very elongated silhouette. The length does reach the floor on me, but it works well with wedge sandals. For flat shoes or flat sandals, I would likely shorten the hem slightly. I usually wear a size 24 in jeans, and the size 00 fit perfectly. Of all the clothing I have purchased this year, this is the piece I am most excited about and the one that has given me the greatest satisfaction

I live in this skirt. It’s fun and unique but still well made and super comfortable. It has plenty of room to move without looking oversized. The pockets and buckles are well placed so they don’t add bulk to my figure. Length hits me just at the ankles and I’m 5’3”. Slit doesn’t flash me, which I like. The denim doesn’t offer a ton of stretch but still has plenty of movement to make it wearable. Color can be dressed up or down. Such a fun and flexible piece.

I feel like I’m rockin’ when I wear this. I love the length: long enough to be just above the floor when I’m wearing 2-3 inch heels (I’m 5’3”). The buckles and straps make it unique and fun. It’s comfortable and the metal details don’t make noise or touch you. It’s got enough flair to be easy to walk and move and sit in. The denim has only a bit of stretch but it’s very true to size so it retains its shape nicely. The black looks great with anything and I appreciate the slightly higher waist. A happy purchase.
