Nordstrom took my money and ran
The knife block was never delivered. Nordstrom mailed the package with UDS, which seems to be notorious for disappearing people's mail. When I contacted Nordstrom, they refused to give me a refund even though the package had never been delivered. Hope Nordstrom likes the few hundred dollars they got as a freebie from me. I guess they can't figure out to mail with somebody other than UDS.

Careful! They are sharp!
I had forgotten how sharp a knife should be. I just thought I had been easily cutting meat and chopping vegetables. These knives pleasantly surprised me with their razor sharpness. I can’t believe I waited this long to get my four star knives.

Extremely sharp knives
First set of ‘real’ knives I’ve owned, very impressed by how sharp they are and they seem to be retaining their edge so far. The only negative is the empty Santoku slot, which requires you to purchase it separately. Why don’t ZWILLING just add that knife to the set and charge accordingly?? It makes no sense.
