So disappointed!
We love this brand and delighted to find this coffeemaker online at Nordstrom Rack! It arrived beautifully packaged and presented. Very easy to use every morning for about 2 weeks....It's , basic, streamlined, brews hot , etc. and then THIS HAPPENED. The round plastic piece under the dome doesn't stay in position. So, now every morning is a balancing act trying to open the plastic flange piece just a bit to secure it to the top. Returning it sans box, material etc... and bought the other programmable model, instead.

Not worth the money
No auto shut-off and it brews the coffee so darn hot that I have to pour a cup and wait 10 minutes to drink it.

Thank you for sharing your experience. The coffee maker is designed to brew at around 200°F for optimal flavor extraction. While the coffee may be a bit hot, it ensures the best possible flavor. The EC-EJC1200 has a manual shut-off, but we also offer the EC-ESC120, which features micom technology for automatic functions. We hope this helps!

Good simple coffeemaker
I really like this coffeemaker. It brews a little hotter than others I have owned, the carafe seems more solid (less likely to break when I wash it). It only has an on/off switch, no ability to program start time. For me, that’s a good thing - I never used those settings on other machines. Good simple machine - recommended.
