Hooded Long Quilted Vest

Im a LRG or XL in jackets and vest if Im going to be wearing layers. I read the reviews to size down. I did, I purchased a SM and MED. I fit into a SM with room to wear a med weight sweater. The jacket is light weight. Best time to wear fall and spring. OBTW, A big THANK YOU to those who actually described why they rated, likes or disliked. It really does help!The Anonymous reviews are helping no one.

This is the cutest jacket, so much so that I’m re-buying it. I’m a 39/28/39 and got a small. I usually wear a small/medium, size 4-6. Fits perfect, even with a medium/smaller sweatshirt. Lesson learned: this needs to be hand washed gently or soaked, and hung dried. The multiple seams will shred in the washer and dryer- even on low settings. This is not a heavy duty vest and meant for errands or gentle activity. If you are good with all that, it’s a beautiful vest.

Color was a bit darker than expected in the pink. More pinkish beige than pink. When zipped, the collar juts up uncomfortably into chin and ears. The unattachable hood doesn't lay right (zipped or unzipped) and adds visible bulk to an already bulky item. Additionally, when the hood is on my head, it literally comes down below my chin. All of these issues point to the univeral problem with this vest: It doesn't just fit large, it fits clownishly large. I ordered 1 size down after reading reviews and should have ordered 2 sizes down and even then I'm not sure the fit would have been right but it would have been closer. Buyer beware!
