What it is: A seductively intoxicating warm and spicy women's fragrance that opens with notes of amber, saffron and orange blossom.

Fragrance story: The opening note of this indulgent long-lasting scent is an adrenaline-rich coffee, followed by the sweet sensuality of vanilla and the floral scent of white flowers, creating a modern, young and addictive women's perfume.

Style: Warm, spicy.

How to use: Perfume is intensified by the warmth of your own body. Mist in the creases of your knees and elbows for a long-lasting scent. After applying, avoid rubbing or dabbing skin. This breaks down the fragrance scent, causing it to wear off more quickly.

What happened to original Opium perfume?
So disappointed Nordstrom no longer has original Opium perfume. It had distinctive mild spicy scent. The new Black Opium has the overused strong and too sweet scent as many cheaper brands. Nothing special about it. Not worth the money.

Sophisticated and sexy fragrance
This is one of my regular favorites in my perfume rotation. For reference of what is also in my rotation of favorites, Jadore, La Ville en Belle and Born in Roma, I also enjoy the Escada yearly summer fragrances for the sweeter gourmand types. This YSL fragrance always makes me feel happy and brings back good memories. It’s a very sexy, strong fragrance that smells sophisticated and classy too.
