Runs Very Long
At 5'5, I don't expect things to fit exactly like the model pics but this was pooled on the ground around me. I normally am a medium in Xirena dresses (I have...a lot of them!) and I got a large because I read reviews saying this one ran small. That is not true in my estimation. It was very TTS. I don't think that I would have had any better luck exchanging for a medium in the length, though and I felt like getting it hemmed would really change the look and flow of this dress because of the side slits. The other thing I noticed that if the belt is tied tighter or higher than shown, the pleats at the bottom of the yoke in front sit weird and look crunched up. The fabric was breezy and light, but had more drape to it than a straight up gauze, which was nice. Still felt like it would be vacation ready and would pack well. Overall, the design was super cute and I wish it had fit me better.
