Striker-X 2.4GHz 4.5CH RC HD Camera Drone

Bought this for my 6 year old grandson for Christmas. He and pappy took it to the park today for the first time to try it out. He came back and said "mamaw, we synced it and it went up and never came back!" My husband says it was supposed to go up 3-5 feet, but it went up and kept going.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pretty much ready to fly, all you need is battery’s for the remote , I’ll be honest that there should be instructions about the remote so here’s your start up steps place battery in drone or charge battery first. Then with double a’s place them into remote . Power on drone and remote pull left joystick down and then up to which they should now be paired if the drone camera is facing you you will be driving in mirror or doing the opposite of what your thinking you should do so face drone away from you for unmirrored driving . This is a decent sized drone so don’t worry it’s hard to lose. It does come with an as card so you can take pictured from the drone . No it’s not Bluetooth so no you can’t pair to device to see flight path.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this free for review purposes and we love it only complaint is the battery life it takes 2 hrs to charge and is dead in 7 minutes tops, it’s easy to control once you get the hang of it , the flight is smooth and steady it has a great speed and hight its camera is nice you have to retrieve your videos from a website on the papers in the box it has a protector around the propeller blades and is very durable because we crashed it a few times getting the hang it I definitely recommend it and I definitely would purchase this myself.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I'm fairly happy with the Striker-X HD Camera Drone 2.4GHz 4.5CH. It's a decent quadcopter for the price, though it does have a few quirks worth mentioning. First, the setup was surprisingly easy - got it out of the box and ready to fly without much hassle at all. It's also extremely lightweight, which makes it easy to carry around and handle. The camera captures decent HD pictures and video for a drone in this category. That said, there are a couple of things to be aware of. The responsiveness is just okay - nothing that wowed me, but workable once you get used to it. The maneuverability can be a bit wavy and takes some patience to dial in, so beginners should expect a small learning curve. I also had a hard time figuring out how to start it at first - the instructions could definitely be clearer on that front. Once I got the hang of it, the drone performs reasonably well for casual flying and grabbing some aerial shots. Not a professional-grade experience, but solid for the price point. With a little practice, it becomes more manageable. A good entry-level option if you go in with the right expectations!
