Maddox Belted Blazer

Prefacing this review by saying I am a 38D, busty. That being said... to be work appropriate I would have to wear something under it, because it is cleavage heavy. Its a cute concept but the belt placement is too low so it makes it look a little awkward with fabric bunching between the bottom of the chest and the belt line.

I ordered this blazer in black and in taupe. Also bought the matching pants. I ordered 1 size up only bc Ive never tried the brand before and I've had some issues with a recently slightly expanded waistline. All 4 pieces fit as I like, both the colors are great. These are really nice pieces for what I consider to be a pretty low price. I planned to decide which color I preferred and wear it to a rehearsal dinner. I cannot decide bc I'm so happy with this purchase and I'm going to keep both colors in the blazer and the pants. I like the longer length of the blazer. The length works better with the belt which is pretty much a trench coat belt. The blazer is cut, buttons, and is belted in a way that allows me to avoid wearing a shirt underneath. The pants have a wider leg, are long enough (5'7" here) and if need be, the cuff could be taken down.
