Short or Petite NOT for you
I am almost 5’4 and thought I could make this dress work with heels. Beautiful shine, beautifully crafted BUT the cut is overwhelming. There are shoulder pads that go out further than your natural shoulders (think football player, not as exaggerated but yes bigger and longer). The sleeves went past my wrist up to the first knuckles and are cut a bit baggy overall. With 4inch heels the length stopped just at the tip of the shoes. The dress looked big and a bit baggy overall. This would require extensive alteration. For reference, I’m am just shy of 5’4, 127lbs , hourglass. I purchased a medium, I could tell the small would appear tight and baggy in the wrong places.
