Wave City Dry^™ Lug Sole Waterproof Chelsea Boot (Women)

I ordered this boot thinking it was La Canadienne, it has the same name, different logo and made in Tunisia, not Canada. Sizing is different too. I unknowingly ordered a dupe or imposter I guess??? I of course sent it back but am disappointed and did not expect that at Nordstrom. I gave it 2 stars because I feel as though that was deceiving. The shoe itself is ok if you don't mind paying for an imposter.

I have no experience with this brand. So I can’t speak to how these compare to ones bought elsewhere. I do know however , from personal experience, that other brands, such as Stuart Weitzman, make sub-quality lines for retailers like NR. I have both first line and lower lines of SW. the price reflects the quality. I suspect the same can be said for LC. That said, this boot is good quality. I am a size 8.5 or 39 in most all brands, with an average but narrow-ish width and volume. The 8.5 in this were extremely small. I returned for the 9, which just fit. So they run at least a half size small, if not a whole size if you are wider. The width in the forefoot as well as the ankle/calf are narrow. I have narrow calves, so this suit me well. I wouldn’t say these are worth the almost $300 price, but since they were almost exactly what I was looking for as far as aesthetic (heel shape and height, shaft height and width, leather vs suede, etc., which I was surprisingly having a hard time finding) they fit the bill for me.
