Fits narrow
Typically, I am Vionic size 9 with a slightly wide footbed. This Valora boot Overall runs true to size of Vionic with a more narrow feel across the width of foot, little arch support, so might need an additional arch insert. Other reviews state shoe is small and to order half-full size larger. I don’t think that is accurate. I ordered 9.5 based on those mixed reviews and the footbed was just far too long. The boot does run and have a narrow look. Shaft of boot runs just below the knee, and wide calf is pleasant. Has a lot of slack on ankle as well, lots of room for kankles to breathe). Block heel gorgeous. Light boot, not heavy feel. Elegant.
Unfortunately there are no 9s to exchange.

Lovely but wide was too wide calf for me
Beautiful boots but wide calf was too wide for me. I read the reviews and the recommendations that if your calf measured the largest on regular width consider sizing up. My bad.

Calf sizing way off!
Really beautiful boot but sizing on leg is way off. Previous reviews made mention of sizing being off but I thought surely sizing up to wide calf would solve that problem. Nope.

Comfort Meets Style
Not my first Vionic tall boots, and they don’t disappoint. Fit us as expected, as I size up 1/2 size from my regular shoes. Gives extra room for toes and thick socks. Heel is slightly higher than I normally buy, but not a deal breaker. Excellent arch support means comfort for hours, if not quite the whole day. Very attractive boots in a chocolate brown, which I didn’t have before. I and my feet are happy.
