Tala Leather Sandal (Women)

I have a relatively narrow foot, mainly in the heel, and typically wear an 8.5 or 9 in medium or narrow, depending on cut of shoe. I tried on the Vionic Ella Toe Loop, and the 8.5 was small both in length and width in forefoot. So I ordered and 8.5 and 9 in medium in this style, the Vionic Tala. This shoe runs ridiculously big, both in length and width, and I even checked to make sure I was not set the wide by accident. The heal strap is relatively useless to adjust, I could not make it any smaller. The sandal seems supportive and comfortable in the right size. I reordered this in a 7.5 and 8, and maybe one of those sizes will work. I gave it 3 stars based solely on fit. If you have a long, thin foot, order at least a half size down, and it may still be too big. If you have a substantial, girthy foot, this may work.
