These shoes run large. It is important to get the right size in Vionic (and other similar brands) in order to get proper placement of the arch support. For this shoe, I recommend sizing down a 1/2 size.

Ugly and very uncomfortable
Words can’t begin to describe how dreadful these Miramar caramel and gold Vionic sandals look on my feet. My husband said they remind him of slippers his Nana used to wear round the house. To be fair, the sandals might look nice on someone with smaller, slender feet but NOT on my 11W feet. I also don’t like the caramel and gold combination. The toe area is stiff and tight, yet looks very wide due to the thick, puffy folds of the leather across the toes (see photo). I own at least 25 pairs of Vionic shoes, mostly because my size is so available, the good arch support, and overall comfort. Sadly, these Miramar sandals are uncharacteristically uncomfortable - there is some arch support but the sole is very hard and digs into my arch. I’m definitely returning them and cannot recommend.

Beautiful with great arch support
I debated buying this shoe based on some of the other reviews. But I’m glad I purchased them. They do run large. I’m always a solid 8.5M in shoes, and this shoe fits perfectly in a size 8. Other reviewers said the arch support hits the wrong spot. My guess is they didn’t size down. I love the arch support in these sandals, and the soft supple leather upper. I ordered another pair in brown/gold, and can’t wait to get them!
