I walk about 5 blocks into the office everyday and wear heels everyday. I wore them three times and on the third wear I was in the office and realized my balance felt off. I looked at the bottom of my heel and the heel tip had come off. Going into the store to try to return them because they were $160.

I purchased these boots this fall after an extensive search. At the time, I noticed one negative review, which didn’t raise concern. Unfortunately, after wearing the boots only four times, multiple quality issues have appeared. The leather on the toe began peeling after wearing them to work, during which I was only driving my car. On the fourth wear, the heel started squeaking loudly, as if the shank was loose. These issues are unexpected for boots from this Brand/price point and indicate a significant quality problem. Given the minimal wear and repeated deterioration, I believe these boots are defective. I would appreciate a price adjustment or alternative resolution. Nordstrom should flag and review this product,. There appears to be a serious quality issue given the number of new negative reviews.

I gave a lot of thought to my purchase and decided I would treat myself and spend more than I typically would on this type of shoe. The first red flag is that they arrived in a broken and torn shoe box that wasn’t even a Vince brand shoe. Second red flag was that the toes got roughed up on the very first wear. Although that upset me greatly, I got over it and continued to wear them as if they were already ruined. Third red flag is that the right heel sole came off on like the 4th wear. So, I am ready to throw these in the trash. DO NOT BUY THIS POOR QUALITY SHOE.
