Oasis Mule Sneaker (Women)

I was so excited to buy these shoes...until I wasn't. So you want to charge $250 for shoes made overseas with low effort construction? What really got me was how the brand cheapened out on the tongue area...why not put binding around the foam instead of leaving it exposed--no one does that. It's poor construction and it speaks volumes what the brand is willing to do to cut costs and increase their profits. I would know, I work in footwear manufacturing. The price does not justify the quality. These shouldn't be more than $150 max.

The shoe is great as is if you like a snug fit. I decided to make a few adaptations to mine. I took out the wide elastic webbed pieces that are on the inside about in the middle of the shoe. I felt they restricted my ability to put my foot entirely in the shoe. They were easy to cut out so they were no longer even seen or felt. I also cut out the closed elastic cords that were used instead of shoelaces. The cords do not work well in the shoe, but shoelaces work great. With those two changes, I absolutely love these mule sneakers! The insoles in Vince shoes are the best ever, and these are no different. Great comfort and good looking at the same time. I will be ordering other colors!
