Ellis Sandal (Women)

I love Vince! I’ve bought so many items from them over the years, and I have quite a few Vince shoes most of which I really like. I was looking for a simple summer sandal and found this pair at the Rack. They looked so sleek and stylish, I couldn’t resist. But after wearing them for just an hour, the pain started. Now I can’t return them… so disappointing!

My first issue is more of a Nordstrom problem, I don’t appreciate being sent returned shoes that were obviously worn. The shoes are VERY wide and this is coming from someone with very wide feet, I don’t feel like there’s good support because of this. The bed of the shoe feels nice, however it is a delicate material that scratches and rubs off easily as another commenter mentioned. I don’t believe this shoe will hold up well long term making it not worth this price point.

Unbelievable that someone would rate this sandal, a mere 2 stars, because they DIDNT GET A BOX, for a 60% off shoe, from a discount retailer! Soft leather, great workmanship as usual with Vince brand, and this sandal is wider foot friendly due to the bit of elastic on the inner side!

I bought these at the ATL Rack and loved how comfortable and versatile they were. I packed them for a FL trip and when I took them out of my suitcase, one of the flip flops had light brown splotches on the foot and light brown goo oozing from the seams of the top part. What?! I have not worn them either. I tried wiping off the light brown substance without success. When I got home, I tried using a leather shoe cleaner to to fix it and it did not work.. the black dye on the underside of the top portion must not have been set as it got on my hand when I tried cleaning the shoe with leather cleaner. I wonder if anyone else experienced this. It was only one shoe too. Will Nordstrom refund the purchase? Not sure.
