Tansie Tall Boot (Women)

I have wide calves and was hesitant on which to order. After reading the reviews I ordered my usual size in extra wide and then a half size larger but regular calf. The half size larger actually fit my calves snugly and gives me enough room to wear thick socks wit it. Going to keep the half size larger since I like the way the calves fit

I really like the look of these but they were not comfy. I was expecting since they had a lower heel that it would be more comfy, but it felt like I was wearing shoes with a 3”+ heel based on the amount of weight that was put on the balls of my feet. I also sized up half a size based on reviews and they still squished my toes. I think it would be better to size up one full size.

The item description is not accurate. I ordered regular calf boots and the description says 15” calf. My calves are 14.5 so this would have been perfect for me. Tried on the boots today and they measure 17” at the opening. They are very wide. They are also very tall and hit the back of my knees when sitting. Rhe footbed is a little small but I can still wear it (I’m between 8-8.5 in closed toe shoes). They are cute while on and I can easily get my foot in and out. I like the color, nice neutral and not too yellow (my concern with some beige suede). Unsure if I will keep these.

The new 'Tansie' boot by Vince Camuto is great. In my normal boot size, the fit for both length and width is very good. The kitten heel height is very moderate so walking is easy, even for a cougar like me. This is a pull on style so I was very skeptical about getting the boots over my ankles. The width of the calves are relaxed enough that I have no problems pulling the boots on and off. In normal wear, the shafts are - slightly - scrunchy. The shafts don't bunch up around my ankles or fall down... they stay up with out me tugging on them all the time. I'm wearing my black leather pair today with leggings and a v-neck sweater for a cute office style. I was fortunate enough to be able to purchase all five color variations. The prices this fall have been very good this shopping season. Got 'em all! Yay!
