Stehf Top Handle Leather Bag

I’m very disappointed with this purchase. The bag was advertised as new, but when I received it, there were multiple signs of handling/wear, including marks and indentations on the leather, wear around the hardware, and questionable condition around the strap and attachment points. It did not look like a genuinely new, untouched bag to me. What makes this even more frustrating is that this is the second bag I’ve had to return from Nordstrom Rack within one week because it was supposed to be new but arrived in questionable condition. I’ve purchased Vince Camuto bags before and have always considered them to be durable and well-made, so I was especially surprised by the condition of this one. I understand that leather can have natural variations, but these appeared beyond normal leather variation to me. I’m returning the bag, but Nordstrom Rack really needs better quality control when items are being sold as new. Customers should be able to trust that “new” means new and unused.

Def worth the price. Looks more expensive than it is, but w/ the wrinkles in the leather, can tell it is a cheap bag. Bummed that the chain does not detach. The back seam is not another outside pouch, it is just a seam. The longest strap is too long for my 5’1” frame at the shortest setting and goes past my waste to bottom hip.
