Penelopy Ankle Strap Sandal (Women)

I have to say, I am very happy that Vince Camuto finally started adding some padding to the footbeds of their shoes making them WAY more comfortable, as is the case with this shoe. I could see wearing these all day and not having sore feet at the end of the day but...Vince has also been known for making his shoes very narrow...as is the case with this shoe. The bottom strap cut into my toes so much that it hurt. Sadly, I had to return them. Unless you have super skinny feet, I would pass on these.

I thought this shoe would be the one. Luckily I kept it on for about 15 minutes and discovered that the strap was cutting into my big toes. While I was on the phone (standing still), I noticed both shoes were getting uncomfortable at the foot strap. I was thinking they needed to be broken in before I wear them to an all-day event. After I got off the phone, I looked down and my right big toe was turning red and my left big toe was turning purple. I don't have wide feet but, obviously, they were too wide for this shoe. Having said that, the shoe is lovely, the heel height is comfortable, and there is some cushion. Give the shoe a try, but be sure to wear it for a while before making your final decision.
