Notch Collar Blazer

This blazer is decent for the sale price that I paid. It's a good weight--I expected a cheaper, lighter-weight fabric, but it's not bad. Fit is true to size; length is great. However, the buttons are just hideous. I ordered the blazer in black, and despite the photos showing black plastic buttons, my blazer arrived with WHITE plastic buttons. On a black blazer...what?? It's just so ugly. Because I like most other details about this garment at its current price point, I've decided to keep it and replace the buttons with something nice. But I don't get it--they made the jacket look ghastly. I also don't appreciate the plastic content tag on the inside seam; plastic tags melt when you iron a garment (and sometimes when you dry-clean it as well). This jacket was produced in August 2022, so it's a couple of years old already. All things considered, still overpriced at the sale price and, in my opinion, a good symbol of how far Nordstrom has fallen.
