Beautiful Dress but So Disappointed
When I saw this dress online last month, I was really excited to order it and have it on hand for cocktail or holiday events. I don't dress up much and needed something I could comfortably wear out. Unfortunately, this dress's sizing is terrible for me. I am 140 pounds and 5'8" and normally a medium or at the very largest, a size 10 in women's. I first ordered this dress in a size 8, which I realized based on the previous reviews was a bit ambitious. Well, sure enough my daughter could not zip it past my waist. I then returned the dress and ordered a size 10, hopeful that this would fix the issue. I received the larger size the other day and even though this one would zip past my waist, it was VERY tight in the mid section. It seems the issue isn't the hips or bust but rather the waist portion that is very small, at least for me. I fear if I venture up to a size 12, the bust area will be too large, as the size 10 was already gaping a bit at the armholes, and need to be returned as well. I'm so disappointed as this is a beautiful dress, material and all, which is the reason for the 3 stars. I hope Nordstrom can relay this challenge with the sizing to the manufacturer as this will likely deter me from ordering anything of the kind in the future that is part of the Vince Camuto line.
