Eyelet Trim Denim Shorts

This is the second pair of these shorts that I purchased—the first one was in white denim (same size). I received many compliments on them , but this second pair…has 2 major problems. First, the sizing is entirely different. I just grabbed the same size off the rack, but it is quite a bit smaller around the waist. Second, the pockets are wonky. One front pocket is cut at an entirely different angle than the second. It’s quite noticeable. Ugh. I had already removed the tags. So I think I’m stuck with these.

I purchased these Vigoss denim shorts on Friday and wore them for only a few hours the next day. They are true to size and very cute. Unfortunately, during the first wear, the metal rivet securing a belt loop fell off, causing the belt loop to unravel. I also noticed loose threads and unraveling around the decorative eyelet cutout details. The shorts were never worn outside the house, and I was simply sitting when these issues occurred. I contacted customer service and was told they can only be returned to the store where they were purchased, despite the apparent manufacturing defects. Cute shorts, but the quality and customer service were disappointing.
