missing original box and case
I have been eyeing these sunglasses for a while. I already have Valentino V-Goldcut Cat Eye I. So, I thought adding the II version to my collection would be top tier fashion.. well upon arrival, they were in the shipping box with two boxes of Uggs slippers. The sunglasses were NOT protected at all. They were wrapped in paper only. No original Valentino box or case like my first pair. I don’t care if the glasses are deeply discounted. The pictures and description both show/state that a case and box should be included. My last pair had those items.. why not this pair?? The price is the same! The rep that I spoke with told me to return this pair and order a new pair.. so I did! To my surprise the replacement pair came without a case and box as well. If that is a possibility it should be stated! Now, I’m being told to return these and order a new pair to see if the third time is a charm.. are they kidding me??? Nordstrom Rack… you know what?? I can’t even say what I really want to say in this review! Send me the box and case for these sunglasses or offer an adjustment of some sort!! It’s ridiculous to treat customers this way! And, I still haven’t received my refund from the first pair of sunglasses! Smh.. I’m so disappointed, Nordstrom Rack!! Now, I’m being told that a submission has been made to the “Feedback Dept” and they might call me back.. WOW..

Invalid Valentino
Purchased these glasses three times in different colors Each time they arrived in a ZIP LOCK bag!!! Valentino MUST be turning over in his grave!!! Customer Service feigned ignorance on the matter. Reordered again with the aide of CS & was promised the leather crossbody case & lense cleaner due to the intervention of the CS Supervisory Rep. Update upon receipt of fourth pair. No box, leather cross body case, lens cloth, or soft portable case. Price adjustment could compensate for lack of missing items.

come with alarm and wrong case
I was very disappointed with how these Valentino sunglasses arrived. The security alarm was still attached between the glasses, making them impossible to use without risking damage. They were also sent in a white Bluberry case with Bluberry manuals, even though the product listing shows Valentino cases. For a Valentino item, I expected the correct case, packaging, and documentation, especially based on the photos shown in the listing. This was not the presentation I expected and makes me question whether the item was properly inspected before being shipped.
