Rosie Nylon Backpack

This backpack is exactly what I was looking for. I travel with multiple laptops and work equipment and while many backpacks lose shape when heavy, this one doesn’t. It stays solid and maintains its shape. It also holds more than I thought it would which is great. I am only 5ft and am happy with the strap length. So many times by the time I get the straps short enough to feel comfortable, I can’t get my arms in/out easily. I agree the straps could go a little shorter but I’m fine with how they are - it sits better than most on my back. The curved/narrowed straps make it extra comfortable. Definitely recommend this backpack.

I'm heading to Europe in a few days and purchased this bag online for my trip. It checked all the boxes--quality, color, features. And on sale! There's only one issue--the straps are far too long. I'm a 5' 6" woman, approximately 130 lbs., and my torso is too short to accommodate the long straps. The bag sits at my lumbosacral junction and wings off my back, even with the straps tightened completely. Even with the bag empty it was uncomfortable where it touched my back and made contact with my shoulders. My husband, who is nearly 6' 3", tried it on with the straps completely tightened and it laid flat against his back, approximately 6" above where it touches my back, exactly where it should rest. I'm SO disappointed. Anyone with a shorter torso or who is petite likely won't be able to wear this bag without experiencing discomfort at the lumbar aspect of the spine. I love Tumi products, own another bag I've had for 17 years that is still in practically perfect condition. So I gave this three stars for the quality, color and features, but am disappointed by the exceedingly long straps that prevent me from keeping the bag.
