Floral Print Smocked Bodice Long Sleeve Dress

Seeing in the picture I was a little unsure about the dress but decided to order it anyways. I ended up lovinggg this dress. I’m usually a L or XL depending on the brand. I decided to go for an XL in this and the fitting is perfect. It is so hard to find long sleeve midi/maxi dresses that are also affordable, so finding this dress for only $28 was amazing.

I am slightly short waisted, but I would have needed at least four more inches in my torso to pull this off. There is way too much fabric trying to drape over the waist, but no room to do so because the waist is wide smocked and so the top cannot drape nicely over it. I would need to pull the shoulders way up to make this work. It's going back unfortunately.....otherwise I liked it.

This dress was perfect for me. It’s extremely light and comfortable. You don’t need 3 layers under your clothes. A perfect modest dress. Has a built in slip and material of dress feels close to silk, my print didn’t look cheap at all. Dress is perfect for top heavy ladies. I was glad that it was more of a strait dress vs a pleated puffy dress.

Such a beautiful print but I was so disappointed when after one wash (in cold water, and air dried), it shrank. The sleeves became 3/4 on me. I hope it won’t shrink any further but I’m incredibly disappointed at the quality of the fabric. It fit perfectly prior to washing :( I won’t be buying this brand again. Waste of money unless you only plan on wearing the dress once.
