Spa Day Pants

These were so close to amazing. The color, fabric and fit were off the charts. But…the length was really long and there is a strange slit at the bottom. The length pooled on the floor even in my tallest boots. I seriously considered getting them hemmed, but the slit sort of stopped me. In the end, I returned them. With very mixed emotions.

These pants, including the waist band, are extremely comfortable. However, I’ve decided to return because of how big they are. I understand that the pants are labeled a “Spa Day Pant” but I was hoping I could wear them to work and it could potentially look like more of a flowy trouser given the cute stitching down the front legs. Because they are so large, they unfortunately look entirely too casual (equivalent to a regular sweat pant). I purchased an XS. The pants are very long and would need hemming if I kept them. Also not only is it very loose and baggy in the leg area, it’s also baggy in the waist band area as well and I personally think it’s giving a maternity wear look because of the thick and loose high waist band. I am 5’3 (115 lbs - 120 lbs). I typically wear a size 0 or 00 in pants (or XXS or XS).

These are very cute but like the earlier review said (which I did not see before buying), no matter how you wash them they shrink substantially. When I purchased they were ground length in shoes. After washing and drying with no heat they are now capri length. Big disappointment as this was my first purchase from this brand.
