Pleat Detail Cotton Maxi Sundress

I do love the color and style a lot! It fits in most areas except the underarm and side seams are loose due to ribbon ties, so you could possibly size down for a more fitted look. You have to tie in 6 areas, 3 down each side. There is a gap in between the 2nd and 3rd tie, I think that one more tie in between them would fix the odd gaping look. If you don’t mind showing some skin, it shouldn’t be a hassle. If you’re more modest, perhaps styling with an undershirt? Or wearing a sweater to cover those peeking sides. For reference, I have a size 10, my standard size. In letter size I am typically a Large in most brands. My bust is 37.5 inches. My waist is 35 inches. I am a 36C in brassiere sizing. I noted that the waistline sits further in, so it is a squeeze for my bubble butt. I’m more of a rectangular body shape. The chest style is more for smaller chested women, mine barely fit in its natural state, a lot of shifting needed to get them just right. Please know, this dress is not for extremely curvy body types. This was a risk for my slightly curvy self! I tried it without a bra and with a strapless one. The dress looks better without a bra, looks more form fitting. Overall, I can picture this as a day dress when dressed down, or a date dress with a shawl and heels. Very good for the hot summers down south in the US. I have to keep the dress due to final sale, but I would have kept it as it adds a new color to my closet and overall was good quality for the price. It has a unique style!
