Tight opening makes putting on a challenge.
The opening is tight. It does not seem proportional to the shoe's size. Unless the laces are completely loosened up to the bottom eyelets - allowing the max opening size, it is a battle getting these on. There is no give to the material and no elastic material around the opening.
I honestly don't wear them much because I dread the drama in putting them on. This involves loosening the laces until almost removed, wedging foot into shoe, then relacing and tightening the laces ( x2). Loosening lace is the normal way to apply a shoe, however; this is extreme unlacing.
Once the battle is won they are great looking shoes and comfortable to wear. I have gotten comments on them.
