Fiesta Palms Cotton Quilt & Sham Set

The quilt is lightweight but great for my spouse and I. I am over fifty and sometimes get hot in the Florida summer nights and this is working out perfectly. The material has nie colors too. It is not buttery soft but it also not scratchy or stiff. It washed and dried well. I wish more things were made in America but who doesn't.

We purchased this set to replace a Tommy Bahama Island Orchard Reversible Quilt. We love the color and sizing however it is not nearly as soft to the touch (almost a canvas feel) as the Island Orchard and seems to be warmer (likely too warm for SWFL). All said, we decided to keep it because it looks great but are disappointed with the fabric and surprised that two similar products could vary so much.

It’s lightweight enough to use in the summer, but heavy enough to layer and use in the winter. More of a butter yellow color vs. beige but overall very pretty.

The cotton had that “washed” softness—smooth, slightly textured, and not stiff at all. It also didn’t have that strong chemical smell that some new bedding has, which I appreciated. The neutral color made everything feel fresh and airy, and the subtle texture made it look more expensive than it actually was. If you like bedding that feels clean, light, and relaxed, the Tommy Bahama quilt is a great pick. It’s not a heavy winter comforter, but for everyday use—especially in warm or humid weather—it’s genuinely comfortable and easy to maintain.
