Bahama Coast Blanket

The only good thing I can say about this product is that the color is very pretty. I washed the blanket one time on the gentle cycle and dried on low. There are tons of loose threads sticking out around the edges after washing that make me concerned for the longevity of the blanket, but the biggest problem is the LINT. After 40 minutes in the dryer my lint trap was overflowing. I had to take the back off my dryer and vacuum it out because every bit of empty space inside was full of lint. There’s an inch of blue lint in the grass under my exterior dryer exhaust. The air in my laundry room looks foggy because there is SO MUCH LINT floating around and it’s impossible to breathe. Everyone in my house has been coughing and sneezing for hours. The blanket is shedding so much lint currently that it’s unusable but with all the loose threads I’m not sure it would survive the amount of washing it would take to get all the lint out. Absolutely do NOT buy this! Also, my package shipped from the company’s return center. Even without the other issues, I’m really not thrilled about paying full price for someone else’s cast-offs.
