Tiffany Combat Boot (Women)

Hi! I first bought this boot in 2019 and still have the original pair! ;-) Although only water resistant (and not waterproof), it has held up through every kind of weather. When I saw the same boot here at a great price, and in the same size as my original 2019 pair, I grabbed them. I am disappointed. For one thing, they are not a true 39EU. Even after they break in, they are still going to be narrow and short. I have read this on another review and wholeheartedly agree. Also, the original boot had a quilted tongue. This tongue is not quilted and not as comfortable. It's a stiff piece of shiny leather and does not give the boot the same substantial look and feel. (I checked the Ron White site and I noticed that the full price boot also does not have a quilted tongue.) For the price, I'm surprised designers are cutting corners. I am a very loyal Ron White customer and am sorry to give only 2 stars based on sizing and the downgrade in quality. Maybe people with a narrow foot will like this boot, but the point is that a Ron White 39 should be Ron White 39--especially in the same boot. I have loved Ron White boots up until these ones. Something has changed drastically and these are no longer the same boots or quality that Ron White has been putting out. Felt cheap, sole is completely different, zipper on one of the pairs I ordered was tweaked and the fit was awful. To tight, to narrow and a funky bump that was an attempt at an arch support but failed miserably. Switched to Rag and Bone boots.

I have for the past 4 years purchased a pair of Ron White combat boots. They have been fabulous and have lasted for the years. This year, I purchased this boot. The quality of the boot has changed, not for the good. The sole of the boot seems not be rubber but plastic. The fabric - leather - is cheap feeling. The zipper tab broke off in my hand while zipping the boot. I love the overall look of the boot, but I am so disappointed with the quality for that price of boot. The boots will be returned. So sad.
