this brand is sized erratically
I don’t get this brand. These pants are $100 more expensive than their wool pants. Why? And their pants sizes are unpredictable, in wool I’m a 6 (usually a 4) and in these I’m a 4. At this price point I should be able to rely on consistent sizing. Theory: get it together!

Staple black pants
These are everything I expect of Theory- classic, well made, and sizing is spot on. They are a tad long on me (5'6") in flats but I typically wear them with heels so have not hemmed. I'm usually a size 4 or 6 in pants, got these in a 4 and they are perfect.

Perfect polished black pants
I’ve been looking for something exactly like these for a long time - wide leg (but not so wide they look like clown pants), nicely fitted at the waist, belt loops, and no pleats (I feel like pleats add 25 lbs). These are perfect! They fit beautifully, the fabric is the perfect weight and looks expensive and elegant. I usually wear a 10 but the 8 fit me better.
