At a $500+ price point, I would expect the most comfortable, buttery soft shoe. And while the style is gorgeous, these shoes are SO uncomfortable in really odd ways. I have normal width feet…slightly narrow heels, for reference. The heel height is just right. And the balls of your feet don’t hurt like in most heels. Instead it’s the sides of your feet that are being tortured from how narrow the shoe is. On top of that the back of the shoe is too low and loose so your heels slip out of the shoe. RE sizing…I’m a true size 9 though I know Italian shoes run small. I first ordered a 9.5 but I could barely get my foot in the shoe. I ordered a size 10 and it was a little better but then walking around, your foot is in a vice grip. At the same time my heel kept sliding out. I wonder if another half size up would be any more comfortable but after a size 40 there are no more half sizes. By contrast, I bought a rounded toe Oxford style from this brand and it was much more comfortable though still ran small. Save your money and avoid this brand at all costs!
