NOT a warm winter coat
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the lavender color and it is a very stylish coat but it is not warm. There's absolutely no way I could send my daughter to school in this coat because it simply would not be warm enough for outdoor recess (midwest climate). If you need a light winter jacket that your child could keep on when riding in a car seat, this would be perfect! However, this did not meet our needs and it had to be returned. Very disappointed that I couldn't find something else at The North Face that was warm, waterproof and came in a fun pink or purple color.
