So so so painful you just can't wear it!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Yes, it is adorable and looks exactly like the pictures, but it is so incredibly painful that they're unwearable. Can't even walk in them for five minutes without getting cuts and blisters on your ankles. The leather, or maybe the lack of padding (or both), literally cuts your ankles within minutes of wearing them. I'm so sad, and unfortunately was told I am unable to return them. They are just sitting in the closet now.

these dig at your heels, and maybe I could break them in, but I'd rather avoid the pain and buy something more comfortable. zero padding at the heel and cushion so its not very comfortable

Cute, but very uncomfortable
I bought these shoes when I was visiting home in the US at Christmas. I wore them once then, and they weren't the most comfortable, but I figured they would just need time to break in. Fast forward several months, more wears in now in London (i.e. lots of walking), and they are just not comfortable. I recently wore them to work and they caused blisters that bled through my tights. Again, they are so cute - but I likely will not buy another pair of shoes from Madewell again as this is my third pair to cause discomfort and consistent blisters/bleeding.
