Tactical Utility Shorts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shorts ran true to size. I love how there are straps on the side to tighten up the shorts. Pockets are also great. Material is also water repellent, I got caught in the rain wearing these. , my shirt which was cotton got soaked, where as the shorts from Ten Thousand was not so wet. Overall great short.

Overall quality of the shorts is great, however there are a few serious problems. I bought 2 pairs and on each pair the fastening snap did not work well - way too tight and sticky. This caused me to break the zipper on one pair (which I replaced with a velcro strip) and on the other pair, it caused the snap to rip out of the material. Bother of these incidents happened on the very first day I wore them!! Ten Thousand would not let me return them because the tags had been removed and they had been "worn". Very disappointing! The other issue with the shorts is that they are sized way too big. Need to order a size smaller than you normally would.

Bought these thinking I’d use them solely for rucks, serious hikes, and scouting hunting spots. Was stoked on the utility but even more impressed with the looks. They’re nothing like traditional, bulky cargo shorts and are great around town or on the boat, and perfect for traveling. Wife approved, too.
