Sleeveless Pleated Midi Dress

Lovely long cherry red dress, a figure flattering design . BUT dress has a design flaw; it’s also fully lined with a heavy weight (cotton?) material and it makes the dress both heavy and hot. There is an additional design flaw as in the top of the bodice , across the front, the fabric rolls and flips over showing the lining when it’s worn. Dress Fabric itself is a heavy weight cotton or cotton blend. Nice design and color but needs a few tweaks to make it irresistible.

I needed a new dress for a summer wedding and this Ted Baker fit and flare style ended up being the perfect dress. The bit of smocking on the back helps to make the bodice fit nicely and the full skirt flows beautifully when walking. I liked the style so much I ended up buying the same dress in a different fabric. Surprisingly the extra small fit well on one dress and the small on the other, so it was good to try different sizes. Plus I was very happy to find the pretty Ted Baker peony purse that matches the blue dress.
