Cap Sleeve Fit & Flare Shirtdress

I purchased this dress in the tulip pink, on a size 16. The color is darker in person. It’s still pink, but more of a magenta than the lighter pink shown here. I feel like the sizing is spot on, I have a 34” waist, although it’s a little long on my 5’3” frame. I don’t have much of a bust, so it fit perfectly in the chest. The dress is lined all the way through, a nice surprise for the money. It has an elastic waist, which is where the fit issue for me comes in. The elastic waist plus the belt leaves somewhat of a gaping hole between the buttons below the waist. I plan to fix it with a hook and eye or a button to close the gap. Even with the gap in between the buttons, it’s a very nice summer dress for the cash. I’m excited to wear it when the weather gets warm!
