Favorite Backpack Brand
My second Swiss Gear backpack. Love all the details. Only thing that’s not necessary for my use is the bulky sunglass case. Didn’t deter me from purchasing though. .

Terrible quality seams shredded
My son used this for about a month for his high school textbooks and several seams just shredded apart. It is unusable. His books are heavy but no heavier than an expensive backpack like this should be able to handle. He has had several backpacks over the years and I’ve never seen one fall apart so quickly.

Not great for travel
Very sturdy with lots of compartments. The reason it gets only three stars is because it’s too heavy. I would not recommend this for travel for two reasons. Firstly, as mentioned above, even empty it is heavy. Secondly, with all the separate compartments, there’s no flexibility in what you can pack in there, thus reducing space. If you are only using it for work, than the extra compartments are a nice touch to keep you organized as long as you don’t mind carrying extra weight.
